Northvale Fire Association
Our Constitution
Article I: Name and Object
i. Section I: This Association shall be known and designated by the name of “Northvale Fire Association” and shall be the Fire Department of the Borough of Northvale, New Jersey.
ii. Section II: The object shall be to extinguish fires, protect life and property, and to carry out the business operation of the Association.
Our Mission
The Northvale Fire Association was established in 1896 to operate the only fire protection services in the community at the time. While the Fire Department handles all fire protection and prevention nowadays, the Association still owns the Northvale firehouse and is committed to maintaining and improving the structure and property. In recent years, the Association has improved the flooring to the fire apparatus bays as well as the meeting room (used for borough voting), internal walls have been painted, a new fire apparatus parking apron was installed, and the firehouse parking lot received an interim top-coat to extend its useful life. The Association works very closely with the Fire Department and the Borough of Northvale to support the Fire Department.
Thank you to everyone who has supported the Northvale Fire Association!
